In Part 1 of this blog series, I shared about my long history with, and passion for, colour and fashion. I truly believe that the Lord put things exactly into place for me over the years and had me come across the faith-based colour analysis company Style by Color and its academy at the perfect time for me: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT version).
The fact that this company has a faith component was huge for me. Shari Braendel, the founder and CEO of Style by Color, personally talked to me on Zoom before I made the commitment to join the academy, and she personally trained me (and 400 others over the years). She let our class know that not only did she believe we were called to do this, but she had also prayed for the right people to come and has a team regularly praying for us as individuals, even now as I write this on January 1, 2025. By joining the Style by Color team, I have now gained a beautiful new community of like-minded women whose over-arching goal is to help women (and men) look, be, and feel their very best at all times.
Another important component of this company is that there is a charitable arm that services women at risk. I am now a certified Ambassador with this initiative and will share more about it in a later post, and how you can help.
This new venture also dovetails into my skills and strengths and where I want to go in the future as an author and speaker. I am so excited to share more with you over the coming weeks and months as the Lord orders my steps for this exciting new 2025 adventure.

I know that life happens sometimes. While booked appointments are non-refundable, they can be rescheduled with more than 72 hours’ notice and rebooked within two months. Appointments are also transferable with advance notice.
